Questions clients ask

Do you build apps for both Android and iOS?

Yes. We build native Android apps in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, and apps for Android and iOS together with Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform. We recommend the approach that fits your product, budget and team.

Should my app be native or cross-platform?

Native Android is the best fit for apps that rely heavily on platform features such as Bluetooth, background work or deep system integration. Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform usually cost less when you need both stores from one codebase. We explain the trade-offs in the architecture proposal before any code is written.

Can you take over or improve an existing app?

Yes. We regularly modernise existing apps: migrating Java and XML to Kotlin and Compose, reducing crashes and ANRs, and restructuring code into modules so new features ship faster.

Do you publish the app to Google Play and the App Store?

Yes. We prepare store listings, handle review submissions and set up release pipelines. We publish our own apps the same way.

Where are you based, and do you work with international clients?

MelioAppStudio is based in Skopje, North Macedonia, and works remotely with clients across Europe and worldwide, in English or Macedonian.

Can you join our team as a technical lead or architect?

Yes. Darko has led teams of up to 16 Android engineers and can join as a technical lead, architect or senior engineer, setting standards, reviewing code and mentoring.
